About the Team
Philly Ball was developed by Saphead Studios, a team that has grown alongside the project from its early experiments into a full arcade cabinet experience. Akintoye Ilo, who has been with Saphead since the beginning, worked as a programmer on the project, focusing primarily on gameplay. Owen Miller programmed the game's systems and worked heavily on the cabinet. Prasin Shrestha created the environment art, shaders, and the game’s overall art style, while Zac Centracchio contributed to environment art. Jake Stratton designed and animated our characters, Zach Spindel handled VFX, Cooper Gordon createdsound effects, and Dylan Ugel composed the music. Lastly, Nikita Puranik and Maya Garcia painted the lovely artwork on the side of our arcade cabinet. Each team member's effort, creative taste, and resolve were key in bringing Saphead's vision to life.
